Hello Overnight 4-H Fair Participants - Please review the information below prior to arriving at the fair. We feel its important for members and adults to know the overnight expectations before arrival. If you have any questions please ask me (Emily) and I will try to answer them. 4-H Youth must have an overnight form on file to stay at the fairgrounds, which would have been submitted with entry forms.

Overnight Check in List
Once 4-H Fair participants have been checked in with the overnight staff (generally 10:00 pm meeting unless otherwise arranged) and signed into their parent or designated overnight emergency contact’s (DOEC) supervision the following is expected:
•	All overnight participants must check in at 10:00 pm meeting. Arrangements to have an early check in can be made in advance with Emily McCabe Alger, by a parent or DOEC. Once early check in has happened – all overnight rules apply immediately. Emily will arrange a meeting place for your earlier requested time.
•	If a parent or DOEC wants an early check in ALL children they are responsible for must do the early check in WITH THEM.
•	Regular 4-H rules always apply – no tobacco use, alcohol, drug use or any other break of normal 4-H Code of Conduct will be tolerated. Everyone signed a code of conduct on their exhibitors form.
•	4-H members will stay on grounds and can only leave grounds with their parent or DOEC.
•	Parent or DOEC will know where the 4-H member(s) are at all times. They will have direct line of site whenever possible.
•	Parent or DOEC is responsible for making sure 4-H’ers are supervised, in their sleeping area, and generally courteous during overnight hours. Fairgrounds should be in “quiet hours” from 11:00 pm till sun-up.
•	4-H members who are staying overnight should not be driving on fairgrounds after close of fair, please have registered camping vehicles in the camping area before close. (Before dark if possible for safety)
•	Youth without permission (signed form submitted in advance) cannot stay on the grounds.
