Dear all,
This is an email to the UCONN probability/analysis mailing list. If you wish to be removed, please let me, [log in to unmask], Joe Chen, or Matthew Badger know, and we'll remove you. You can also do it yourself on https://listserv.uconn.edu/scripts/wa.exe?A0=UCONN_PROBABILITY-L, Subscribe or Unsubscribe on right column.
This semester I'd like to organize a reading seminar. All are welcome. The general topic is Martin Boundaries and Quasistationary Distributions. We already have a small core of people interested. We are planning to meet on Friday afternoons. On weeks we won't have an Analysis/Probability seminar, we will use the seminar time slot (Friday 3:30pm I believe).
First meeting (for organization, NOT USUAL DAY): Thursday Sep 3rd, 3:30pm at MSB 109A (math colloquium room). If you can't make it but still are interested, please let me know, and include your time constraints.
Finally, since I’m already sending an email to all, I’d like to remind you all of the special semester in nonsmooth analysis this fall: http://www.math.uconn.edu/nonsmooth/
All the very best,
Iddo
