                  2016 Westchester GIS User Group Meeting

                       May 12, 2016 Purchase College



                       Win GIS Training and Support!



This year’s annual GIS event at Purchase College will include a contest to

see which organizations in Westchester County are best represented and have

the most attendees.



As part of the contest, Westchester County GIS will be awarding on-site GIS

training/support to two Westchester County organizations which have the

most individuals registering AND attending the meeting.   Organizations

eligible for the on-site training/support prize include the following

categories:



      1.       Municipalities/Municipal Committees

      2.       Schools/Nonprofits



One winning organization from each category will receive ½ day of onsite

training/support from Westchester County GIS staff covering topics

including: How to make to Story Maps, ArcGIS.com basics, ArcGIS Explorer,

overview and accessing Westchester County GIS services and online mapping

products, mobile data collection options, and a review and discussion of

opportunities for GIS growth and development in the organization.  Winners

will be announced at 3:00.  A representative from the winning organization

must be present to claim the prize.
