The 2016 4-H Fair is almost here...

Attached is important information about the fair.  "2016 Getting ready for the fair" includes registration information, bringing in exhibits, showing livestock regulations and volunteering - jobs for everyone. "2016 volunteer" describes all the volunteer needs and can be used to sign up.   "Dates to Remember 2016" highlights all dates involving the fair.   If you have trouble opening any of the attachments or questions, please contact Peggy or Emily. 

We are looking for youth 10 years and up who want to help out with the fair this year.  They need to help out at the set-up on the 30th and attend the training which is held when we are completed in the Home Arts building (around 11:30) and volunteer to help in the barn sometime during the weekend.  Potential Livestock managers will sign up with Jenna Sullivan, Dog with Avery Mendick, Horse corner with Mikayla Alger  and Home Arts with Kate Yale.  Please indicate the area you wish to help out with on the attendance form on the 30th and speak with one of these officers.

CALLING 4-Hers 10 YEARS OLD AND UP.
Are you looking for Fun, Leadership and Adventure? Then look no  further, the Home Arts Department has you covered!  The Home Arts Committee is looking for interested youth to help out on  fair weekend. Tasks include setting up the home arts area, covering  tables, setting up display areas with flags and signs, checking to  insure exhibits have been checked in properly, escorting other youth  to the correct exhibit location, keeping watch over the exhibit area, helping judges with questions, handing out water bottles and thank you gifts, attaching ribbons, helping Peggy with various administrative duties and much, much more.

 We need help on Saturday Set Up Day (July 30) starting at 9:00 am,

Wednesday (Aug 3) from 6:00 - 8:30, Friday (Aug 5) after 12:00 pm,

Saturday (Aug 6 and Sunday (Aug. 7). One day, all the days or just a part of the day......its up to you. During Fair Weekend we break the  day into slots by the hour. You can sign up for one or two hours or  several.

Are you technically savvy, able to enter small amounts of data into a computer and a team player? Consider joining the Home Arts Tech Team.  They get to use the computers!!! The job is Wednesday, August 3 from about 5:00 -8:30 pm and Friday, Aug 5 from around 1:00 - 6:30 pm. If you are interested or have more questions contact Perry at [log in to unmask]
