This is a quick note to draw your attention to the "MSU Symposium on Mathematical Statistics and Applications", a conference which my colleagues D. Gilliland, T. Maiti, V. Melfi, W. Song, J. Stapleton, and I are organizing at Michigan State University from Sep 14 to 16, 2018:

All are welcome to attend, there is no registration fee. We encourage anyone with an interest in statistics for stochastic processes, or any other math stat topic, to contribute a title and abstract for a presentation. 

Funds from the National Science Foundation (NSF) will help us support the travel of grad students and early-career researchers, and researchers from under-represented groups. 

The above website has the essential info about the conference, including links for registration and for contributing presentations, and a place to request travel assistance. As we update this site, please reach out to me and to my assistant Teresa Vollmer with specific questions.
