Hello,
The Warren Historical Society is in possession of a detailed map of Warren, CT that contains the original divisions of land created for auction in 1738. With now ready access to LiDAR topographical images, it occurred to us that there might be a way to reconcile our proprietor’s map with its physical boundaries with LiDAR evidence of boundary divisions (stone walls, rock cairns, etc.).
We are interested in finding someone with mapping skills that might permit the proprietors map to become a “layer”, suitable for interaction with LiDAR data from Connecticut’s Elevation (LiDAR) viewer accessible on the CTECO.UCONN site.
Thank you for your consideration of this question.
All the best,
Jed Struckus, Ph.D.
