  Please note the following with corrected time for Transfer Switch Testing. 

ANNUAL STEAM SHUTDOWN NOTICE:  May 5th - May 9th, 2024 Please be advised that the annual steam shutdown is scheduled to take place from May 5th at 12:00 am to May 9th at 11:30 pm in 2024. We kindly ask that you plan your research activities accordingly based on your previous experiences with this event. Additionally, we recommend preparing for the shutdown by dressing warmly in layers to ensure your comfort during this period.


AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH TESTING: BPB
(2 switches)  May 14th, 2024. 9:30am-10:30am.
Please be advised of the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) testing for BPB, the building will continue to have normal power during the preventative maintenance. Only the life safety circuits like emergency lighting/ exit lighting and some department equipment will not have power for ½ hour per switch. Each automatic transfer switch will be completed one at a time. I do not know what order the switches will be done. I do not know which switch feeds equipment. While the test usually concludes faster, we have allocated half an hour per switch to ensure completion.
