RiverCOG is working on a planning project that received funding through US DOT called Thriving Communities. The grant provided technical assistance for planning Transit-Oriented Development around Middletown Bus Station and the train stations in Old Saybrook, Westbrook and Clinton. One of the organizations we are working with, Accelerator for America, asked us to identify examples of creative/innovatively financed affordable housing and/or mixed use development projects in Connecticut.

If anyone is are aware of successful projects that came together with some creative/innovative funding we would appreciate learning about them.
