Subject: [UCONN_OFFICIAL_ANNOUNCEMENTS-L] Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton - Lecture Attendance Information

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,
The worst of the winter is hopefully behind us, and the first day of spring is only a few weeks away. Before you leave for spring break, I want to remind you about the exciting speakers coming to Jorgensen this semester.
On Wednesday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m., Hillary Rodham Clinton, Former Secretary of State and Former U.S. Senator from New York, will deliver remarks and participate in a question-and-answer session as part of this year's Edmund Fusco Contemporary Issues Forum.
For more information, access the Edmund Fusco Contemporary Issues Forum website<http://uconn.edu/fusco>, and click on "Event Information" on the right side of the page.
On April 9, at 7 p.m., Richard Dawkins, world-renowned evolutionary biologist, will appear as the first event in the President's Distinguished Lecture Series. Again, this is a free non-ticketed event, and the doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
This week's UConn Reads event, "What the %@&*! Happened to Comics?" featuring acclaimed cartoonist Art Spiegelman, has been rescheduled to Monday, March 24, at 7 p.m. This is a free non-ticketed event. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for classes, and 6:30 p.m. for the general public.
Have a wonderful and safe spring break!
