International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) will visit your campus in the upcoming week for appointments and a workshop.

GBLC Appointments: Friday, March 7,  9 am to 2:30 pm, Room 310 – One appointment left!

Stamford Appointments: Wednesday, March 12, 10 am to 12:20, 2:00 to 2:40 pm, Room 106 – Six appointments left!

Walk In Travel Signatures: In April we will offer walk-in travel signatures (no appointment needed) at both GBLC and Stamford campuses, so if you need a travel signature for summer it is better to wait until next months’ ISSS visit to your campuses.

Workshop on Pre-Completion Practical Training (Pre-Completion OPT and CPT):

GBLC Campus: March 7, 2:30 to 4 pm, Room 303 (for students with key card access to third floor in this building)

Stamford Campus: 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, Room 131

Want to do an internship in the summer to get experience in your field of study? Does your academic program have an internship option or requirement? Are you applying to work on an Accelerator project with the School of Business? This workshop will cover everything you need to know about getting the proper authorization to do an internship during your academic program. All F-1 students are required to have either pre-completion OPT or CPT authorization in order to do an internship. This workshop provides an overview of eligibility criteria, internship requirements and application procedures. This workshop does NOT cover OPT for after graduation.
