I know many of us use Trimble GNSS and use post processing to achieve desired levels of accuracy. Earlier today Trimble became aware of a problem downloading CORS base station data from the NGS/NOAA servers through Trimble Positions Desktop add-in.

At the beginning of post processing, Position users will see error messages for the failed downloads. Trimble is not sure what may have suddenly caused this issue to develop. They are currently investigating and hope to have a patch or solution soon. This issue is not limited to just their Positions Desktop Add-in but is also affecting Pathfinder Office and Field Inspector.

In the meantime, a suggested workaround would be to note the URLs for the attempted downloads and then download the files manually through a browser.  You can then setup a new post processing profile for those specific files.

Trimble will be posting new information concerning this issue on their Development Team Blog. Your Trimble Dealer should also be able to provide you with information as it becomes available or to help you with the workaround.
