International Student and Scholar Services is posting this announcement as a public service. ********************************************************************************************************************** On Friday, June 6th, 8:30am, a ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place to open the new Storrs Price Chopper Supermarket on 1220 Storrs Road. Price Chopper officials and local dignitaries will be attending this event. This will be the first Price Chopper supermarket that will feature a mezzanine seating level with free wifi and a full service Starbucks. You are also invited to get a sneak peak of the Price Chopper Storrs store. A preview party will occur on Thursday, June 5th, 5:30 - 7:30pm. A $5 per person donation is requested as there will be delicious assortment of food offerings through the store. Children until 12 are free. 100% of your donation will benefit: The Edwin O. Smith Foundation, My Brother's Keeper Food Pantry and the UConn Extension 4-H Program.
