The City of Cambridge has made many of their datasets available as GeoJSONs
via GitHub <https://github.com/cambridgegis/cambridgegis_data>. That might
not be a format that works well for your users if they need shapefiles, but
it would be lightweight and wouldn't require additional local IT
infrastructure.
