?Hi Jennifer,

?Go to the Sunday orientation for newbies, make sure to get your badge etc then, on Sunday, so you don't need to carry all the stuff they give you all day on Monday.

Dress comfortably but bring layers. Some people get cold in the convention hall, particularly during the first day keynotes.

Be prepared to be surrounded by 14,000 other GIS nerds.

Take notes, there is lots to ingest during the week.

Have fun. If you see any abandoned map books during the keynote Monday grab me one. :)

Zach-
