9/17 Writing a Résumé for Jobs in Industry

This session is for graduate students who seek to create a résumé to apply for jobs in industry within the United States.
You will learn about overall format, content, and options for tailoring one’s résumé to best reflect relevant experiences and skills.
Consider bringing a copy of your current résumé, or a draft of a new one, on which you can make notes about sections you might want to revise or expand.

10/21 Creating a Curriculum Vitae for Research Jobs

This session is for graduate students who seek to create a Curriculum Vitae (CV) for application to research jobs.
You will learn about format, considerations for content, and options for featuring your experiences and skills.
Consider bringing a copy of your current CV, or a draft of a new one, on which you can make notes about content you might want to add, revise, or expand.

11/13 Building Your First Curriculum Vitae

5:00-6:00
This session is for graduate students who may already have a résumé, but who also seek to have a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
You will learn about career fields in which the CV is a common component of the application process, and you will gain knowledge about format and the range of content sections you might include. This session is truly for students who have not crafted a CV before.
