Hartford Courant Letter, August 29 Stacey Violante Cote, Director, Teen Legal Advocacy Project, Center for Children's Advocacy We need a state count of homeless children. We need to prevent homelessness by filling the holes in services and connecting kids to supports. There are only 15 shelter beds for unaccompanied youths in Connecticut and not one is in Hartford.
