Apologies for the X-post and if you’ve already received this, but I thought it cool to pass along: You are invited to join the Global effort of the UK Centres of Excellence to set a world record attempt (unofficial as the Guinness records bureaucracy is crazy) to be run during GIS Day/National Geography Week Nov 16-22, 2015. Esri UK and the GDST have been developing a collaborative Geography event for all school Geography departments. Between 17-21 November 2014 we want to get as many students as you can to add data to our online collaborative GIS map.
