I actually have a student working on that very question here on our campus this fall. He did a little preliminary work describing light intensity at set distances, but his next round is to look at the limits of the cone. I'll send a note back when he gets some measurements done. In theory, he'll also be looking at exterior building and pedestrian lighting. Dr. Ryan W. Taylor Assistant Professor - Environmental Studies Purchase College, SUNY 735 Anderson Hill Rd. FYI...HPS = High Pressure Sodium, MV = Mercury Vapor, INC = Incandescent. FLD = Floodlights are going to be aimed out, and RWY = Roadways are going to be aimed down. Jennifer M. Hello Friends and Colleagues, I am calling again upon your combined expertise (most impressive I might add!) to answer a question that I am challenged with. The question is, what is the average radius of a street light coverage per light? Thanks! Thad ________________________ Thad J. Dymkowski, GISP G.I.S.
