Hello listers,

My HP 750c Plus plotter is finally dying and I have been approved $$$ for finding a replacement.  I am looking at the HP T520.

Needs and considerations:

Must be 36” minimum width

Most of the plotting is vector with minimal (< 15%) solid color patches.

We are plotting less frequently than in earlier years due to desktop printing by our foresters. 

Smaller ink cartridges mean less waste if the plotter sits idle for 6+ weeks.

CMYK instead of 6 colors means less waste if plotter sits idle for 6+ weeks.

Anyone have experience or recommendations about the T520 or other plotters?
