Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.  Registration begins at 8:30 am (a light breakfast will be served). Program begins at 9:00 am.

Please join this youth-led forum on the importance of supportive relationships -- with social workers, families, mentors, and others -- for youth success. This event will provide an engaging forum to:
Listen to youth sharing their stories and ideas;
Learn the facts about the importance of relationships; and
Discuss how we as policymakers, advocates, and community members can support opportunities and success for youth in state care.

Participants will include:
Youth currently and formerly in the care of the Department of Children and Families
Social workers, attorneys, and foster parents who work with youth in DCF care
Commissioner Joette Katz, Department of Children and Families
Commissioner Patricia Rehmer, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services
Child Advocate Sarah Eagan, Office of the Child Advocate
The Honorable Bernadette Conway, Chief Administrative Judge, Juvenile Matters
