Have you tried deleting your normal.mxt and letting ArcGIS create a new one. This often fixes weird behavior that appears to have no other direct cause. I noticed today that when I open the table for any number of features, the Table Options button that is normally in the upper left corner of the Table window is missing. This has been occurring in multiple MXDs and even after opening up a fresh ArcMap session and just throwing random SDE GDBs, FGDB, and shapefiles into the TOC. I have also rebooted the machine and that didn't make a difference either. Also, the Esri support page is down, so I haven't been able to check there for a solution. Thanks for the help!
