EnerGIS Scholarship Extended..... - March 8th

The GITA Mid-Atlantic chapter is again awarding scholarships to deserving GIS and Geography students.

Scholarships are available to full or part-time students studying at a university, college, or technical school in the United States or Canada.  Students need not be GIS or Geography majors but their course work and / or majors must have a large geospatial component.
*          Winners must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States or Canada.
*          Five $500 scholarships shall be granted to undergraduate students.
*          One $1000 grand prize scholarship shall be granted to an undergraduate student, and one $1000 grand prize shall be granted to a graduate level student.
*          In order to receive the grand prizes the students must travel to EnerGIS 2015 and present their project to the conference.  Projects need not be energy related but must have a large geospatial component.
*          The grand prize winners shall receive their scholarship check at EnerGIS 2015, and will receive complimentary admission.  All travel and lodging costs shall be paid for by the scholarship winners.
*          Decisions of the scholarship committee are final.
