Traveling outside the U.S. this spring or summer? U.S. All students and scholars who are traveling overseas need a travel signature on their Form I-20/DS-2019 that is less than 12 months old at the date of your return to the U.S. (or less than 6 months old if you are on post-completion OPT or if you are a Short Term Scholar with a J-1 visa). You must bring all of the required documents to your appointment in order to get your Form I20/DS-2019 signed for travel.
