Position: Geospatial Sales Consultant
Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepare system configuration and price quotations for geospatial positioning solutions (e.g. GPS, scanning, and robotic hardware, software, services), and supporting technologies
• Perform hands-on product demonstrations and consult with prospective sales customers to identify needs and solution alternatives
• Assist with the development of customized solutions
• Provide system installation and training services
• Serve as liaison with Vendor sales representatives to coordinate and promote vendor sales programs
• Attend conferences, trade shows, and symposia to promote solutions, represent the firm, and identify prospects and nurture existing relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver superior customer service
• Work in coordination with senior technical sales consultants
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with geospatial technology manufactured by Trimble Navigation
• 3 years of successful field sales experience
• Experience determining customer requirements and creating functional specifications
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
• Technical aptitude and pro-active problem solving skills
• Comfortable working in a technology-based environment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively in northeastern U.S.
• BA/BS in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred
