Position:  Geospatial Sales Consultant

Primary Responsibilities:

          Prepare system configuration and price quotations for geospatial positioning solutions (e.g. GPS, scanning, and robotic hardware, software, services), and supporting technologies

          Perform hands-on product demonstrations and consult with prospective sales customers to identify needs and solution alternatives

          Assist with the development of customized solutions

          Provide system installation and training services

          Serve as liaison with Vendor sales representatives to coordinate and promote vendor sales programs

          Attend conferences, trade shows, and symposia to promote solutions, represent the firm, and identify prospects and nurture existing relationships

          Collaborate with colleagues to deliver superior customer service

          Work in coordination with senior technical sales consultants


Preferred Qualifications:

          Familiarity with geospatial technology manufactured by Trimble Navigation

          3 years of successful field sales experience

          Experience determining customer requirements and creating functional specifications

          Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

          Technical aptitude and pro-active problem solving skills

          Comfortable working in a technology-based environment

          Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively in northeastern U.S.

          BA/BS in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred
