Dear Students,

Please remember that all students MUST have a "Current Local Address" (which must be a U.S. address) in StudentAdmin (PeopleSoft). Your "Current Local Address" is reported to SEVIS as per federal regulations. New students must update or add a "Current Local Address" as part of the Check-In process after your arrival. We cannot activate new student records unless you have a valid "Current Local Address" in StudentAdmin. Returning students must update their current local address within 10 days of moving. If you do not have a "Current Local Address" in Student Admin, please ADD this today. If your "Current Local Address" is an international address, please update this to your Connecticut address today.

Your local address can NOT be your department office address, a PO Box or the ISSS office. Your Current Local address must be your place of RESIDENCE.

All J-1 student visa holders must also update StudentAdmin with a local telephone number when you have one. Please only input the 10-digit telephone number, and designate this number as your "primary" number. J-1 visiting scholars may report their phone number when completing the Check In form.

For information on how to update your Current Local Address, please visit: http://isss.uconn.edu/students/current-students/current-students-update-your-address/

For directions on how to log in, find your password, and update your address in StudentAdmin, visit: http://peoplesofthelp.uconn.edu/

You must update your "Current Local Address" every time your address changes. Even if you are just staying somewhere temporarily while you move, still you must report this as your "Current Local Address."

Thank you.
