After a long hiatus (goodbye summer), the Analysis & Probability Seminar starts again today with a talk by our own Vasileios Chousionis.  Vasileios will talk about geometric measure theory (title and abstract below).  See you this afternoon!

Seminar Time & Location: 3:15pm in MSB 109A

Title: Density square functions, uniform rectifiability, and Wolff potentials.

Abstract:

We characterize uniform rectifiability via density square functions, providing a square functions analogue of Preiss' theorem which characterizes rectifiability in terms of the existence of densities. We also discuss how density square functions of fractional homogeneity are related to Wolff potentials, answering a question of F. Nazarov.
