Hello fellow GIS users!  GIS Day will be here soon – Wednesday, November 18th.  We are accepting – seeking(!) – map submissions in digital form this year, including story maps.  The maps and map posters will be hosted on the GIS User to User Network website.

If you feel that what you do with GIS is important, this is an opportunity to display your work.  If you’ve used GIS for a complicated analysis, for displaying the progress of a project, or to present geographic data for decision making, this is an opportunity to show what you’ve done.  The plan is for awards in several categories, including story maps.

If you’ve contributed a map or poster in the past, you know it’s worth the effort.  Have something new, or want to display something you did last spring?  Please contact me or Steve Birney ([log in to unmask] ) if you have questions about submitting a map or map poster.  We look forward to hearing from you!
