The American Academy of Pediatrics is urging doctors to learn more about special education services and to take a hands-on role in advocating for kids with disabilities.  The AAP has issued a report offering pediatricians a primer on IDEA and how they can work with families and school districts to ensure children are receiving appropriate services in school.
