This email is a reminder that if you would like to participate in WorldFest, our first meeting will be on Tuesday, January 26th at 3 pm in the ISSS office.  If you cannot attend this meeting, there are two more meetings on January 29th at 11 am or February 1st at 2 pm.  Please RSVP by emailing [log in to unmask] or just SHOW UP!

WorldFest will take place on Saturday, March 26th, 2016 from 1pm-4pm in the Student Union Ballrooom.  Each year the ISSS office holds this event to promote, celebrate, and showcase cultures from around the world.  If you would like to participate in the event, please RSVP by following the instructions on the attached WorldFest Informational flyer.  As part of the UConn Community, your involvement and participation in this event will be greatly appreciated and will ensure the success of this cultural program.  Please strongly consider being a part of it.

 

WorldFest will be comprised of cultural booths, dance/musical performances, and, new this year, a fashion show!  We are looking for students that have ethnic attire and would like to participate by modeling their ethnic wear on stage.  If you are still back at home, please don't forget to pack your cultural outfit prior to coming back to UConn!

 

RSVPs are strongly encouraged for students that will like to participate in the event (performances, booths and/or volunteering assignments).  No RSVP is needed if you are just attending the event as part of the audience.
