DO YOU HAVE A CREATIVE SIDE?!  ISSS is looking for students to participate in the WorldFest 2016 Poster Contest!!  Please refer to the attached flyer with the submission guidelines.  Deadline for poster submission is 2/15/2016.  Please send your submission to UConn.[log in to unmask]

A prize will be awarded to the creator of the winning poster!

WorldFest will take place on Saturday, March 26th, 2016 from 1pm-4pm in the Student Union Ballrooom.  Each year the ISSS office holds this event to promote, celebrate, and showcase cultures from around the world.  As part of the UConn Community, your involvement and participation in this event will be greatly appreciated and will ensure the success of this cultural program.  Please strongly consider being a part of it.

If you will like to participate in a performance or a cultural booth or if you will like to volunteer/help at this event, please RSVP by following the instructions on the attached WorldFest Informational flyer. You do not have to RSVP if you are just attending the event as part of the public audience.  The event admission is free of charge to the public and all ages are welcome to attend.  

WorldFest will be comprised of cultural booths, dance/musical performances, and, new this year, a fashion show!  We are looking for students that have ethnic attire and would like to participate by modeling their ethnic wear on stage.  If you are still back at home, please don't forget to pack your cultural outfit prior to coming back to UConn!

Tuesday, January 26 from 3pm-4pm

Friday, January 29 from 11am-12pm

Monday, February 1 from 2pm-3pm
