Narragansett Bay Estuary Program 2016 GIS Intern

The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) and the Narragansett Bay Estuary Program seek a GIS Intern to assist with the development of status and trends indicators for Narragansett Bay and its watershed by analyzing and mapping geographic information system (GIS) data, writing reports, and organizing digital materials.

This is a paid position that is funded for up to 275 hours. Hours are flexible but assistance is needed between February and August of 2016. The successful candidate will have a minimum 3 years of satisfactory progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, engineering, biology, or closely related field and proficiency with the ArcGIS desktop.
