This was a difficult process as all of our entries were wonderful! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN THIS YEAR’S POSTER CONTEST. Please consider submitting again next year as your participation in kicking off this cultural celebration is so greatly appreciated. PARTICIPATE IN WORLDFEST 2016! WorldFest will take place on Saturday, March 26th, 2016 from 1pm-4pm in the Student Union Ballroom. Each year the ISSS office holds this event to promote, celebrate, and showcase cultures from around the world. As part of the UConn Community, your involvement and participation in this event will be greatly appreciated and will ensure the success of this cultural program. Please strongly consider being a part of it. If you will like to participate in a performance or a cultural booth or if you will like to volunteer/help at this event, please RSVP by following the instructions on the attached WorldFest Informational flyer. You do not have to RSVP if you are just attending the event as part of the public audience. The event admission is free of charge to the public and all ages are welcome to attend. WorldFest will be comprised of cultural booths, dance/musical performances, and, new this year, a fashion show! We are looking for students that have ethnic attire and would like to participate by modeling their ethnic wear on stage. If you are still back at home, please don't forget to pack your cultural outfit prior to coming back to UConn!
