The following message is sent on behalf of Melody A. Currey, Commissioner of the Department of Administrative Services Dear Connecticut State Employee, Recently you should have received an email asking you to complete a survey for the Department of Administrative Services. The DAS has asked UConn to conduct a survey to collect feedback directly from state employees. Your feedback will help us learn more about the state workforce, how well the state provides support to employees and how the state could improve support to employees. All employee contact information is kept strictly confidential and securely maintained by the research team. The research team is not able to see the actual responses provided by you. The research team and anyone from the state departments will not be able to identify who provided any of the responses in the survey. After completion of the survey, your contact information and any email communications will be deleted. The survey will be completed online via a secure website and will be completely anonymous. If you prefer, employees may request a phone interview instead. Only the aggregated group results will be published in a report. No individual responses will be reported. The survey results will be made available to all state employees. The questionnaire will take about 10-15 minutes for the average participant and the amount of questions depends on individual responses. You will not need any personal documentation or records to complete this survey. You will be able to review and revise your responses before submitting and you may choose to not answer a question if you prefer. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
