The Practical Training Workshop for UConn STAMFORD is now rescheduled!

Pre-Completion Practical Training (OPT and CPT)

Are you looking for internships off-campus? Does your academic program have a required internship or practicum? You MUST have proper work authorization before you can start any off-campus internships or practicum. This workshop will discuss the difference between CPT and Pre-Completion OPT and the application procedures for both.

*If you are a student from another UConn regional campus or if you are a student who cannot attend a practical workshop, you may schedule an advising appointment at your campus to discuss practical training for internships and work after graduation.  Before scheduling an individual advising appointment for OPT and/or CPT, please refer to our website regarding your inquiries to get familiar with the practical training options and eligibility requirements.*
