So, if … “The list can be used for non-commercial purposes including posting announcements about meetings, seminars and conferences, raising questions about data availability, finding GIS applications, etc.” where does the debate over what content is appropriate and not appropriate fit into that? If you are so concerned about maintaining a connection to your readers and truly believe your blog is valuable divorced from your company, host it elsewhere and set up an RSS feed.
