For the sake of this conversation, I'll share an idea with the whole listserv that I shared with Brett after his email last week.

This had me thinking, has NEARC considered standing up a directory of GIS practitioners and consultants on its website? I wonder if you'd be able to charge a nominal annual fee to be included.  I'm sure I'm not the only one that sees the Arc Users Groups to be the go-to place for regional GIS info.  Maybe creating an opportunity to be "discovered" on the NEARC site could reduce the temptation to spam the listserv.  Just a thought.

Hi folks,

I want everyone to know that Matt Sheehan and I are in active communication about our LISTSERV policies.

In light of that, does anyone have suggestions on how businesses can reach the NEARC community that doesn’t involve posting to our LISTSERV?

This is as good a time as any to think about it.

Best regards,
