Google has made some security changes to Chrome that may cause problems for
those using HTML 5 and the ArcGIS JavaScript API to create web apps. This
includes apps created with ArcGIS Online Templates or Web AppBuilder. These
changes should be implemented with Chrome version 50.

The API that are impacted are the Geolocation, Fullscreen, Device Motion and
Device Orientation. So if you use the Locate widget which uses the
Geolocation API to prompt the user for permission to find their position it
may no longer work as expected once a user updates to this new version of
Chrome. For more information, you might want to check out this Esri Blog
post -

google-chrome/.
