East Coast Greenway Alliance is accepting applications until Saturday, April 30, 2016 for its open Tri-State Coordinator position.

The nonprofit East Coast Greenway Alliance (ECGA) is developing a 2,900-mile route for safe cycling and walking throughout the Eastern Seaboard from Key West to Canada. An urban sister of the Appalachian Trail, the East Coast Greenway aims to transform our hundreds of communities to become models of health, sustainability, and prosperity.

Position Description. The Tri-State Greenway Coordinator (Tri-State Coordinator) is a full-time position that carries region-wide (NJ, NY, & CT) responsibilities for all aspects of greenway development, State Committee/volunteer engagement, and some fundraising tasks related to the region. The Tri-State Coordinator works under the direction of the Greenway Program Coordinator and in coordination with the Executive Director (ED) and the Office Manager.

The Tri-State Coordinator supports the volunteer State Committees and must be able to travel frequently within the region for meetings and events. The Coordinator will also occasionally attend events outside the region, such as national summits. A budget for travel, equipment, and other program expenses will be provided.
