The Connecticut House and Senate unanimously passed the bill introduced by the Center and New Haven Legal Assistance that mandates that an RFP be issued for the next Medicaid transportation contract. Jon Lender’s column in the Sunday Hartford Courant (see below) notes the continuing abysmal level of performance by the current contractor, the Center’s complaint to the Justice Department and the issues around the bidding process.
