In case you have not heard, W. Paul Vogt recently passed. He was a frequent contributor to this list, and he was author/coauthor of books such as The SAGE Dictionary of Statistics and Methodology; Quantitative Research Methods for Professionals in Education and Other Fields; When to Use What Research Design; Selecting the Right Analyses for Your Data: Quantitative, Qualitative, and Mixed Methods; Education Programs for Improving Intergroup Relations: Theory, Research, and Practice; SAGE Quantitative Research Methods; Tolerance & Education: Learning To Live with Diversity and Difference; The SAGE Handbook of Innovation in Social Research Methods; Data Collection (SAGE Benchmarks in Social Research Methods); and Correlation and Regression Analysis (SAGE Benchmarks in Social Research Methods).
