Thank you for your responses.  I didn’t have enough for a proper sample group and analysis, but here are some numbers on the ten respondents (in no particular order):

3 update parcels annually

5 update parcels as the updates come in

1 updates weekly (large city)

1 updates quarterly or more often

If I was able to do a complete study, the number of staff, size of community and precision in the process would be helpful.

Hi All,

 

For those of you working in the municipal GIS world, how often does your organization update the digital parcel lines?

 

I usually do these annually, but am trying to move to a 3 or 4 month interval.  There’s quite a lot of real estate action here in Needham.
