If I remember correctly, exporting GE imagery and then georeferencing it
into another GIS is against the user agreement and is a copyright
violation..

There is a plug in for ArcGIS called Arc2Earth (https://www.arc2earth.com/)
that allows you to put GE imagery into Arc. It is a yearly subscription
that essentially allows you to license the GE imagery. Only the current GE
imagery is accessible from the Arc2Earth servers so you cannot do time line
imagery effects.

As mentioned, ESRI background maps > Imagery is similar to GE and avoids
the expense associated with Arc2Earth
