Hello everyone –

 

On behalf of our meeting committee (cc:ed on this email), this is a short note for you to mark down on your calendar Thursday, December 1^st from 4-7pm for our next RIGIS User Group meeting at the Gas Lamp Grille (206 Thames St, Newport, RI).

 

Draft Agenda:

 

4:00 – 4:30           Registration & Networking

4:30 – 5:30           Lightning talks - open topics

5:30 – 6:00           Networking break

6:00 – 7:00           Panel discussion on Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) and GIS

 

Call for Speakers:

 

Please reply or call me (David, Heidi or Michele if you prefer) with your interest to either present a short talk on a topic of your choice, or participate on a panel discussing the use of GIS to support MS4 efforts.  At this point, we are looking for your interest to participate.  More information will come as we get closer to the event.

 

Call for Sponsors:

 

We (RIGIS) are looking for sponsors to support the cost of the venue and appetizers.  Whatever your organization is willing and able to contribute would be most appreciated.  Your organization’s name and logo will be included in correspondence before the event, and will be presented prominently and mentioned during the event.  Again, please contact me, Heidi Blank [log in to unmask], Michele Giorgianni [log in to unmask], or David DosReis, [log in to unmask] to discuss what kind of support we are looking for, and how to ask within your organization (if you need help with that).
