This is being sent to the New Haven and 4-H Fair Distribution Lists and forwarded to Middlesex lists – attached is information about the upcoming 2016 Achievement Night scheduled for Friday, November 18 and the 4-H Fair theme contest.  Don’t forget that theme contest entries are due to Emily no late than11/10.

Thanks to the 2 clubs who have agreed to help with the set-up and clean-up.  More volunteers are still needed as more hands will help make the work go easier.  If you are able to help with the set-up, please arrive by 6:00 pm. 

We are still looking for youth to fill the following three offices:  Coordinator of Publicity, Coordinator of Ribbons and Coordinator of Dog Show.  Possible candidates must be at least 10 right now and have participated in at least one 4-H Fair.  If you are interested, please contact Peg or Emily right away.  





2016 Achievement Night/4-H Fair Annual Meeting
Friday, November 18, 2016

Just a reminder that we will be holding our Annual Middlesex/New Haven County 4-H Fair Meeting and County Achievement Night on the above date.  Year-end of 4-H Fair awards and county recognition for both members and clubs will be presented at this time.  2016-2017 elected 4-H Fair officers and advisors ratified at the October meeting will be formally inducted.  It is important that ALL Fair Officers and Advisors attend as we will be taking a formal group photo.

We are asking each family whose last names begin with the letters A-L to please bring a dessert item to share for the reception.  Families with last names beginning with the letters M-Z are asked to bring fruit punch or other cold beverage. The 4-H Fair Association will provide coffee, tea and paper goods.

Those who are planning to help with set-up – please arrive around 6:00 p.m.
