The State of Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) has recently posted a position to fill a vacancy.
Don’t let the job title fool you. Due to time sensitivity, our office needed to utilize an existing job title for its associated pay grade. Even though the title is “Programmer/Analyst
III (Oracle)”, the duties of the position are related to the performing technical coordination of RIDOT’s GIS-based asset management enterprise solution (VUEWorks from DTS) and other database applications that interface with it. Contrary to the job title,
the position involves the use of SQL Server (not Oracle).
