SIAS Global, LLC is seeking a qualified person to fulfill our part-time web developer position. The web developer will be responsible for coding, innovative design and layout of our website. Responsibilities include building the website from concept to completion based on provided content. POSITION DETAILS Position Start Date: Immediately Position Type: Part-time (approximately 15 hours a week) Project Location: Must be able to meet periodically in New Haven, CT Minimum Requirements: Prior training or experience in website development, user experience design or UX. Must have ability to code and develop websites from the bottom up and ability to work independently. Due to funding restrictions the candidate must be a CT resident or a full-time student in a Connecticut secondary school. Preferred: • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP • Experience with dojo, d3, jQuery and other JS libraries • Experience creating desktop web applications • Database management experience with SQL for server (creating and maintaining databases for online user requests) • UI, UX design • Experience with GIS and remote sensing software Pay: $30 per hour depending on experience If you are interested, please send a two-page CV including your contact information, education, work experience, and contact information for three potential references to [log in to unmask] .
