ISSS Regional Campus Advising and Workshops - SP 17 Semester

If you are enrolled in a program at one of the UConn regional campuses (not Storrs campus) and you would like to meet with an ISSS international advisor, you can now register for an appointment on our website. From the home page isss.uconn.edu, go to the "Walk In Advising Schedule" and click on button that says "Regional Campus Appointments". From here you can follow the links to find a list of ISSS events and workshops, including regional campus advising appointments.

Scroll down to the campus name to sign up for an appointment:
-Hartford GBLC International Advising
-Law School/Greater Hartford Campus International Advising
-Stamford Campus International Advising
-Avery Point Campus International Advising

Please note that you must register in advance for an appointment if you would like to meet with an ISSS advisor.   Also, we cannot process your applications while at the regional campuses, with the exception of travel signatures.  If you need a travel signature, please come prepared with all required documents: http://isss.uconn.edu/students/current-students/current-students-travel-requirements/   If you would like to submit an application to an ISSS advisor, also please see our website for a list of all required application documents. We will take the application back to our office for processing.


Workshops at the Regional Campuses
ISSS will conduct workshops on Post-completion OPT and Pre-completion Practical Training (pre-OPT and CPT) at the Law School, GBLC and Stamford campuses. You can find the dates and sign up for these workshops at www.icworkshops.uconn.edu<http://www.icworkshops.uconn.edu> , select the appropriate workshop, and scroll down to find the session offered at your campus. You must register in advance to attend these workshops.  These workshops provide international students with F-1 visas information on applying for work authorization to conduct paid and unpaid internships in the United States.
