Christine, My guess is they will be very similar. I have been running ArcGIS Pro since beta and the recommended specs have not change much over time. Just make sure you meet or exceed the recommended specs for 1.4 and you should be fine. Since ArcGIS Pro is 64 bit, it will use as much hardware as you can throw at it. I would recommend the following: * Quad Core i5 or i7 (i7 if you are going to be doing a lot of analysis) * 16 GB of RAM or more * 256 GB SSD for OS and Applications or larger * 2 TB SATA 7,200 RPM Hard drive for file storage * Dedicated GPU such as AMD R7 or NVIDIA GeForce with 2 GB Video RAM or more (I am running a GeForce GTX 970M and it works great) * Dual 24 to 27 Inch HD Monitors In general, I have started buying Gaming Systems for my team. They are beefy enough for GIS application but are cheaper than traditional high end business workstations with the same specs.
