Christine,

My guess is they will be very similar. I have been running ArcGIS Pro since
beta and the recommended specs have not change much over time. Just make
sure you meet or exceed the recommended specs for 1.4 and you should be
fine. Since ArcGIS Pro is 64 bit, it will use as much hardware as you can
throw at it.

I would recommend the following:

*	Quad Core i5 or i7 (i7 if you are going to be doing a lot of
analysis)
*	16 GB of RAM or more
*	256 GB SSD for OS and Applications or larger
*	2 TB SATA 7,200 RPM Hard drive for file storage
*	Dedicated GPU such as AMD R7 or NVIDIA GeForce with 2 GB Video RAM
or more (I am running a GeForce GTX 970M and it works great)
*	Dual 24 to 27 Inch HD Monitors

In general, I have started buying Gaming Systems for my team. They are beefy
enough for GIS application but are cheaper than traditional high end
business workstations with the same specs.

Subject: PC Specs for ArcGIS PRO 2.0

We are in the process of purchasing a new pc and want it to meet the
recommended and/or optimal specs for ArcGIS PRO 2.0, which should be
released very soon. I have only been able to find the recommended/optimal
pc specs for PRO 1.4. Anyone seen the specs for 2.0?

Thanks in advance,

~Christine
