Dear international students,
As you prepare for the new semester, remember that all international students must update StudentAdmin with your
Current Local address in the U.S. within 10 days after moving-in.
If you have recently moved to a new address, or will soon move back to campus, remember this very important step to remember! For instructions, see Update
Your Address. You must designate the address in Student Admin as Current Local. Don’t forget to update your mailing/billing address as well, if this has also changed!
Students who live off-campus - how to write your address:
Line 1: House number and Street Name (example: 15 Smith Road)
Line 2: Apt/Unit # (Example, Apt. 3C)
City: List the town or city name
State: CT
Postal: List the 5 digit number zip code
You may not list an international address in the
Current Local Address field. This is only for U.S. addresses. This must be where you are physically living; it cannot be your UConn academic department address.
Students who live on campus- how to write your address for the Current Local address field. Your address is in the “Dorm Address” field can stay as it is listed in Student Admin:

Visiting Scholars on J Visas (Research Scholar, Professor, Short Term Scholar, Student Intern):
Visiting scholars must also update their address within 10 days of moving. However, you will do this online through the
Address Change Request Form. You must have a Net ID to use this form.
